Questions & Answers
Questions, Answered Plainly.
Everything a small seller usually asks before trusting a system with their restocking — grouped so you can find yours fast.
What Skuvelo Is
- Is this an ERP?
- Technically, yes — it handles stock, orders, restocking, suppliers, and the money side in one system, which is what an ERP does. We don't lead with the word because "ERP" has come to mean a long implementation and a big invoice. This is a file upload and an afternoon.
- What does Skuvelo actually do, day to day?
- It watches what's selling, what's left on the shelf, and how long each supplier takes to deliver. From that it tells you what to reorder, how many, and when — and drafts the purchase order for you to review. You approve it or you don't.
- Who is it for?
- Online sellers and retail stores run by the people who own them. Once you're past roughly fifty products, or selling in more than one place, the restocking math is already bigger than a spreadsheet can safely hold — that's who this is for.
- I only have a few hundred products. Is this overkill?
- Probably the opposite. Once you're past roughly fifty products or selling in more than one place, the arithmetic is already bigger than a spreadsheet can safely hold. Most people who ask us this have already been burned once.
Pricing
- How is $24.95 possible when Cin7 starts at $349?
- Skuvelo is designed around a focused product scope and lower operating overhead. The public price is $24.95 per organization per month, with the whole team included and no per-seat charge.
- Is $24.95 per user or per business?
- Per organization. Your whole team is included with no per-seat charge. Bounded usage controls for variable-cost operations are stated before account activation.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. You can open the sample workspace or request access without a payment card. The current flow does not create a charge.
- How is the $24.95 price defined?
- $24.95 is the durable public price for one organization per month. Billing is not active in the current access flow.
- Can I sign up today?
- Billing is not active. You can request access without entering a payment card, and no charge is created by the current form.
Data & Setup
- Do I have to connect my store?
- No. You can open the demo right now with sample data, and you can run your own business off a spreadsheet upload. Connecting a store directly is a convenience you can add later, not a requirement to start.
- How do I get my data in?
- Export your products, current stock, and sales history from wherever they live into a spreadsheet, then upload the file. You'll be looking at your own numbers the same day — no data-mapping call, no implementation project.
- What data do I need to bring?
- At minimum, a product list and your current stock counts. Add some sales history and your supplier lead times and the restock recommendations get sharper. You can start with less and fill in the rest as you go.
- Which stores can I connect?
- You can run any channel through a spreadsheet upload today. Direct store connections are rolling out — Shopify first — so connecting is a convenience you add later, never a requirement to start.
- I'm already on Cin7, Odoo, or Zoho. Is switching painful?
- Start by exporting products, stock, and sales history. The primary comparison uses source-dated pricing and capacity evidence so you can evaluate the operating tradeoffs before moving data.
Control & Trust
- Will it order things without asking me?
- Never. Skuvelo writes the order and shows you every number behind it. You change what you disagree with, then you send it — or you don't. Nothing goes to a supplier on its own.
- Will Skuvelo contact my suppliers automatically?
- No. Skuvelo drafts the purchase order and shows you every number behind it. Sending it to a supplier is always a deliberate action you take — nothing leaves on its own.
- Is my data private?
- Skuvelo is designed to keep tenant data scoped to the organization and to support exportable operational records. Public demo data is isolated from production customer data.
- Can I export my data back out?
- Yes — one click to a spreadsheet, any time. Your inventory, orders, and history are never trapped in the system. This is also the honest answer to "what if you disappear": you keep your data regardless.
Company
- How do I know you'll still be around in three years?
- That is a fair question for any system holding operational data. Skuvelo is being built around exportable records, bounded operating costs, and a focused product scope rather than a promise about future company outcomes.
- Do you offer help if I get stuck?
- Yes. We automated the parts that usually need a support queue — onboarding and data mapping — so most people don't need to ask. When you do, you can reach a human; the point is that you shouldn't have to just to get started.
