Spreadsheet or connected source?
Keep a clear source of truth when product and supplier data starts in a file.
| Decision | SpreadsheetSkuvelo Live | Connected sourceStore, marketplace or books |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Nothing extra: you already have the file. | Included with the platform plan you already pay for. |
| Who it suits | Starting out, or data no other system holds. | Data that changes daily: orders and stock. |
| Staying current | Re-upload, or link the file once: selected Google Sheets supplier price lists, and the OneDrive or SharePoint workbooks you pick, watched for changes. | Syncs on its own. |
| What it takes | Export a supported file and import it. | One connection approval per platform. |
| What Skuvelo connects | Upload products, stock and sales history from any supported spreadsheet and start planning the same day. See connection and limits | Each store, marketplace and accounting connection lists what it reads and its limits. See connection and limits |

- Pick a spreadsheet if the data lives nowhere else, or to start planning before anything is connected.
- Pick a connected source once the data changes daily; an uploaded file is stale by the next order.
Skuvelo also watches selected Google Sheets supplier price lists and re-imports every change the supplier makes. A workbook in OneDrive or SharePoint is linked the same way: pick it once in Microsoft’s file picker and Skuvelo re-imports it whenever someone saves a change.
In Skuvelo, Spreadsheet & CSV is Live.
