Stocky alternative for Shopify stores
Shopify's Stocky app is no longer available as of August 31, 2026. Here is what Shopify says changes, and where Skuvelo picks up demand forecasting and purchasing.
What Shopify says changes
Stocky tracked inventory levels, forecast the inventory you needed and suggested what to order. Shopify says it is no longer available as of August 31, 2026, and that your purchase order and stocktake history does not move into Shopify on its own. Export the records you want to keep from Stocky's reports. Shopify also says suppliers can't be exported from Stocky, and historical purchase orders can't be imported into Shopify.
Shopify's own inventory features now cover purchase orders, transfers and stock counts, and Sidekick can suggest items to reorder and draft the order.

Where Skuvelo fits
Skuvelo connects to Shopify and keeps your catalog, stock and orders current. It forecasts demand for each SKU, tells you what to reorder and when, and turns that into purchase orders for your suppliers. If you also sell on other channels, they plan from the same stock.
See Skuvelo for Shopify stores or compare other inventory systems.
Bringing your Stocky records across
Export open purchase orders from Stocky's reports while you still have them. Skuvelo's CSV import has a Stocky preset for open purchase orders and supplier costs; any column it doesn't recognize goes to a mapping step. Because Shopify says suppliers can't be exported from Stocky, keep your supplier list in a spreadsheet and import it the same way.
Planning by hand for now? The free inventory planning spreadsheet template and the order quantity calculator cover the same reorder maths.
Questions
Is Stocky still available?
No. Shopify says Stocky is no longer available as of August 31, 2026.
Does my Stocky data move to Shopify automatically?
No. Shopify says historical data such as old purchase orders and stocktakes does not move automatically, and you must export the records you want to keep from Stocky's reports. Shopify also says suppliers can't be exported from Stocky.
What does Shopify offer in place of Stocky?
Shopify's built-in inventory features cover purchase orders, transfers between locations and stock counts, and Sidekick can recommend items from sales data and draft a purchase order or transfer. Shopify says some Stocky features might work differently or might not yet be available.
Can I bring my Stocky records into Skuvelo?
Yes, from a CSV. Skuvelo has a Stocky preset for open purchase orders and supplier costs. Any column it doesn't recognize goes to a mapping step, so nothing is guessed.
Does Skuvelo work with Shopify?
Yes. The Shopify connection is live. Your catalog, stock and every order flow into your plan and keep it current.
