When Skuvelo is not the right fit

Skuvelo is not right for everyone, and it is better you find that out here than three months in. It plans stock you buy finished, hold, and sell — Amazon FBA, a store, another marketplace. Skip it if you build the product from parts or need an app that tells people where to pick. A sheet is still the right call if you've got a few dozen SKUs on one channel and lead time isn't a real problem yet.

You make it, you don't just buy it. If the hard part is building the product from parts, this is the wrong arithmetic.

You need the warehouse walked. Skuvelo knows what's at a location. It does not print pick paths, run barcode waves, or slot a building. FBA inbound is a shipment you send. A 3PL with their own system stays their system.

You want accounting in the same login. Skuvelo connects to QuickBooks rather than replacing it. It is not a general ledger and does not file anything.

You're still fine in a sheet. One channel, a few dozen SKUs, supplier ships next week every time. Keep the sheet. The line is usually around fifty products or a second place you sell — Amazon and Shopify, FBA and a store. When the spreadsheet stops being enough is the longer version.
