When Skuvelo is not the right fit
Skuvelo is not right for everyone. It plans what to buy and send in for finished goods — not a factory system, a warehouse picker app, or your accounting software.
Skuvelo plans stock you buy finished, hold, and sell — Amazon FBA, a store, or another marketplace. It is not built for manufacturing from parts or for directing warehouse pick paths. You can start with a spreadsheet at any size; the question is whether a shared plan would help you manage lead times, stock balance, and the next order.
You make it, you don't just buy it. If the hard part is building the product from parts, this is the wrong arithmetic.
You need the warehouse walked. Skuvelo knows what's at a location. It does not print pick paths, run barcode waves, or slot a building. FBA inbound is a shipment you send. A 3PL with their own system stays their system.
You want accounting in the same login. Skuvelo connects to QuickBooks rather than replacing it. It is not a general ledger and does not file anything.
You are deciding how to start. A spreadsheet is a supported starting point, not a reason to delay planning. When a spreadsheet needs more help explains the signs to look for.
