QuickBooks stays your books and Skuvelo stays your stock: no quantity is pushed, and your cost of goods comes from your own purchase bills.

The problem

The books record what happened. They do not decide what to reorder.

What it does

Products export as non-inventory items and sales post as receipts against your mapped income account. Skuvelo plans and holds your stock; QuickBooks records the money.

What it does not

QuickBooks stays your books. Once a sale is exported, QuickBooks owns its status from there. Skuvelo does not push quantity on hand, post an opening balance, or record sales tax, so your cost of goods comes from your own purchase bills.

In your restock plan

QuickBooks records the money; the restock decision is made in Skuvelo before it gets there. The plan recommends how much to reorder and when, and open purchase orders are dated from supplier payment terms, so each deposit and balance leaves the cash plan on the day it is due rather than surfacing later as an unexpected bill.
