The problem

What it does
Connect from Integrations in Skuvelo, choose your organisation, and map your accounts once. Skuvelo then exports your items and sales invoices to Xero automatically.
What it does not
Xero stays your books. Skuvelo never posts an opening balance into them, neither opening stock nor an opening inventory value, because the items it creates in Xero are untracked and carry no quantity at all. Your stock and its valuation stay in Skuvelo; the cost of what you buy reaches Xero through your own supplier bills, and an accountant who wants an inventory figure on the balance sheet journals it there using Skuvelo's valuation.
In your restock plan
Your Xero books show what you spent; Skuvelo shows what you are about to spend. Every open purchase order is dated from the supplier’s payment terms, so the cash plan shows each deposit and balance on the day it falls due, beside the reorder recommendation behind it. Plan vs actuals then reports, in money, what sold against the plan and why it was off.
