  1. 01

    Start from the recommendation

The reorder quantity, timing, and cash context arrive with the draft, so the buyer edits a proposal instead of filling in a blank form.

  2. 02

    Approval before it goes out

You can set approval bands by order value, so a larger purchase order waits for the approvers you name before the supplier sees it.

  3. 03

    Receive against the order

Record each delivery against its purchase order, so stock on hand and the open quantity on the order stay in step.

  4. 04

    Cash dated from supplier terms

Each deposit and balance on an open purchase order leaves the cash plan on the day it is due under the supplier's payment terms.

  5. 05

    A record of every order

Drafts, approvals, and receipts are kept as an audit trail the team can review later.

  6. 06

    Move stock before you buy

When another warehouse holds spare stock, the plan fills the short one first and only then says what to buy.

Questions teams ask first

Can a purchase order need approval?

Yes. You can set approval bands by order value. Each band names who may approve and whether it takes one approval or two.

Does receiving update stock?

Yes. Receiving against a purchase order updates stock on hand and the quantity still open on that order.

Does it work across more than one warehouse?

Yes. Stock moves between locations with in-transit visibility, and the plan checks spare stock elsewhere before it recommends a buy.

How do I size the order before I commit?

Skuvelo recommends the quantity and timing. To check the arithmetic yourself, the reorder point, EOQ, and lead time calculators linked on this page show the working.
