Adding and removing people, transferring ownership, and getting back in
Invite and remove teammates, transfer ownership, and get back in when nobody can sign in.
Adding someone. An Owner or Admin sends an invitation from Settings → Team with an email address and a role. The invited person gets an email with a link; accepting it creates their account (if they don't already have one) and adds them to your team at the assigned role. An invitation can be resent if it expires or the email didn't arrive.
Removing someone. An Owner or Admin removes a teammate from the same Team screen. This ends their access immediately — it does not delete anything they created, which stays as part of your team's record the same way it would if they'd left any other job.
Transferring ownership. There isn't a single "make someone else the owner" button — the mechanism is the same role-change tool used for any other role, and only an existing Owner can do it — an Admin who tries is refused, which is deliberate rather than a bug: the role that can hand out ownership has to be ownership itself. So an Owner changes another member's role to Owner. At that point there can be more than one Owner on the account; if the intent is a full handoff, the original Owner can then have their own role changed by the new one. Walk through both steps with whoever's asking rather than assuming the first step alone finishes a "transfer."
Getting back in if you're locked out. Skuvelo is passwordless-friendly: requesting a sign-in link at the login screen emails a one-time link to sign in, no password needed. This works for any existing account and is the right first thing to suggest before troubleshooting a forgotten password further. It signs into an account that already exists — it will not create a new one, so if no email arrives, the most likely cause is a typo'd address or an account under a different email, not a delivery problem.
