Limit a team member to one warehouse or channel

Give a warehouse or planning role access to only the locations or sales channels that person works with.

A role says what someone can do. You can also say where: a Warehouse member who only works at your east warehouse, or a planner who only handles your Shopify store.

Set it. On Settings → Team & Roles, choose Limit access beside the person (on a phone, Manage, then Limit to locations or channels). Tick the locations and sales channels they work with and save. Leave a list empty to keep all of them. It applies from their next click.

What they see. Stock, counts, receiving, transfers and the figures on Today cover only their locations, and Today says so ("Figures at East Warehouse"). A channel limit shows only that channel's orders, returns and payouts. The header shows "Limited to …" so they always know. If they try to count, receive or send a transfer from somewhere outside their limit, they are told it is outside the locations their role is limited to.

Who can't be limited. Owners and Admins manage access for everyone, so they always see the whole business. Promoting someone to Admin removes their limit.

Every change to a person's limit is recorded in the activity log.

Try the plan on your own stock.
