Wholesale price tiers
Set quantity-based wholesale prices for a product, for every wholesale buyer or just one, and see which price an order uses.
Price tiers give a wholesale buyer a better unit price when they order enough of a product. Tiers are set on each product, and changing them needs an owner, admin or planner.
Add tiers to a product
Open the product from Products and find the Wholesale price tiers card. Click Edit tiers, then Add tier. For each tier choose a Customer or leave it as All wholesale customers, enter the From qty and the Unit price, and save.
Which price an order uses
When an order line is priced, Skuvelo looks only at the tiers whose minimum quantity the line reaches:
- A tier set for the buyer on the order beats one set for everyone.
- Among those, the tier with the highest minimum quantity wins.
So with tiers of 10 at $9 and 50 at $8 for everyone, and 50 at $7.50 for one buyer, that buyer ordering 60 pays $7.50, and anyone else ordering 60 pays $8.
When no tier applies
An order line that reaches no tier is priced exactly as it was before tiers existed. Removing every tier from a product puts it back on that price.
