Photograph a return at inspection
Record what condition a returned item came back in, with a grade and pictures, before deciding what happens to it.
When a return arrives, the inspection is where you decide what it's worth. In Skuvelo you record that as a condition grade and, if you like, pictures of the item.
Grade and photograph the item
- Open the return from Returns & RTV once it has been received.
- Under the inspection step, choose a condition:
- New: unopened, sellable as new.
- Resellable: opened or handled, still sellable.
- Damaged: not sellable as it is.
- Unsellable: write it off.
- Press Add photo. In the Skuvelo app the camera opens. On a computer you can choose a picture file. A return keeps up to ten.
- Press Record inspection. It stays off until you have chosen a condition.
The grade and pictures appear on the return's timeline, where anyone on your team with access to returns can see them.
Who can do this
Grading a return needs a role that can receive deliveries: owner, admin or warehouse. Other roles can see the grade and pictures but can't change them.
Where the pictures are kept
Pictures are stored privately for your workspace. Each time the return is opened, Skuvelo creates a short-lived link to show them, so a copied link stops working after a few minutes and never opens for anyone outside your workspace. They are deleted with the rest of your workspace's data if it is closed.
