Guide
Asking a person, and seeing your own figures, in Help
When Help shows a figure from your own account, what it will and won't show, and how "Ask a person" sends your question to support without you retyping it.
The Help panel answers most questions with a guide. For a few questions it can also show a figure from your own account, and when a guide isn't enough you can hand the question to a person in one click.
Your own figures in Help
Ask how many SKUs you have, how many are out of stock, how many units are on hand, or how many orders came in over the last 30 days, and Help shows the figure above the guides and names the screen it comes from.
Ask about a SKU's reorder point and Help shows the reorder point stored on that SKU, and points you to its page on Products:
- Name the SKU ("what's the reorder point for MUG-01") and you see that SKU's figure.
- Quote a figure ("why is my reorder point 40") and Help looks for SKUs with that reorder point set. One match shows that SKU. Several show how many there are and list the first few.
- No reorder point set. Help says so plainly instead of showing a figure. Skuvelo then calculates one from the SKU's demand and lead time, and you can set your own on the product page.
Help shows a figure only to people who can open the screen it comes from. A teammate whose access is limited to certain locations or brands doesn't see account-wide figures here, because those would disagree with every screen they can open. Help never shows money figures, such as cash tied up in stock; those stay on the screens that explain them.
When Help asks which one you mean
A few words in Skuvelo cover more than one thing. When your question could mean any of them, Help asks which one you mean first and offers a guide for each. When your question already says which, Help goes straight to the answer.
Ask a person
If the answer isn't there, choose Ask a person in the Help panel. Your message goes to support with what Help already knows: the question you typed, the guide it showed you, and the page you were on. You don't need to explain it again, and someone replies to your account's email address.
