Alerts and notifications
What Skuvelo tells you without being asked — reorder points, approvals, stalled approvals and connection problems — and how to choose who hears about each one, by email or in the app.
Skuvelo watches your plan, your purchase orders and your connections, and tells you when something needs you. Every alert appears under the bell at the top of the workspace — on a phone too — and can also arrive by email.
What you are told about
- Item reaches its reorder point. When a sale or a change to the plan brings an item's projected stock down to its reorder point, you get the SKU, the date to order by, the days until then, the order quantity and the cash that order needs. The figures are the ones Plan → Replenishment shows for that item, and the alert links straight to it.
- Purchase order needs your approval. Only the people your approval policy allows to approve that order are told, with the reason it needs approval. Whoever submitted it is not.
- Approval waiting too long. When an order has waited longer than the limit (two days unless you change it), the owner is told once, with how long it has waited and the date it was needed by.
- Connection degraded or down, and connection stopped syncing — which connection, its state, since when, and a link to Integrations.
- Item flagged for review — a connection or data problem that someone has to look at in Flagged Items & Approvals.
Each alert is sent once. It is not repeated while the problem stays the same, and it speaks again only if the problem clears and comes back. Anything that was already true when alerts started for your workspace, or when you turn an alert on, is not announced — an item already at its reorder point is listed in Plan → Replenishment, a connection already degraded in Integrations, a PO already waiting in Flagged Items & Approvals — and when several items cross at once you get one email listing them all.
Read and clear alerts
Open the bell to see recent alerts, with unread ones marked. Choosing an alert marks it read and opens the record it is about. Mark all read clears the count. Notifications lists everything.
Choose who is told (owners and admins)
Open Settings → Notifications. Under Workspace alerts each alert can be turned off, sent to different roles, or kept out of email. Alerts with a limit — how many days an approval may wait, how many hours a connection may go without syncing — let you set it. Every alert is on by default.
Choose how you are told (everyone)
Under Your delivery on the same page, choose for each alert whether email arrives immediately, in a daily digest at the time you pick, or not at all. Quiet hours hold email until the window ends; nothing is dropped, and the alert still appears under the bell straight away. Times are in your workspace's time zone.
