Guide

Choose the columns you see, once for every table

Hide and reorder columns on Purchasing, Orders and Inventory, keep the layout in a saved view, and make one choice — such as no money columns — your default on every table.

Each table on Purchasing, Orders and Inventory has a Columns menu in its toolbar. Untick a column to hide it, use the arrows to move a shown column left or right, and Reset to default to put the table back. The last shown column cannot be hidden.

The table remembers its layout on this device after a reload, per workspace and per person.

Make one choice your default everywhere

If you never want to see money, say, hide Value on Purchasing and choose Make this my default everywhere in the same menu. Every table that has money columns then opens without them — Value on Orders, the cost and value columns on Inventory. The line under the button says what your default hides today.

The default works by kind of column: money, warehouse, supplier and dates. A table you have already arranged yourself keeps its own layout; the default shapes only a table you have not touched, and it is what that table's Reset to default returns to.

The default lives on this device. On another computer or your phone you start from the plain layout until you set it there too.

Keep a layout in a saved view

On Purchasing and Orders, Saved views keeps the hidden columns and their order with the filters. Opening the view puts them back. A column that no longer exists is dropped with a note rather than failing the view.
