Overdue shipments
Get one alert when an inbound shipment passes its ETA with none of it booked in, and see how the plan moves its arrival and your run-out dates.
An inbound shipment is overdue when its ETA has passed by more than the grace period and not one unit of it has been booked in. Skuvelo measures this in your workspace's business day, not the server's clock.
What happens when a shipment is overdue
Skuvelo raises one Shipment overdue alert for it. The plan stops counting on the old ETA and moves the arrival to today plus the grace period. The alert lists each affected SKU with its run-out date before and after that move, so you can see which SKUs the delay puts at risk.
If the shipment is still not in once the new date and another grace period have passed, Skuvelo moves it again and tells you again.
Set the real ETA
Open the order under Purchasing and set the shipment's real ETA. Editing the ETA by hand ends Skuvelo's re-plan, and the plan uses your date from then on.
A shipment with any units booked in is never flagged.
Change the grace period
The grace period defaults to 2 days. Change it, or choose who is told, under Settings → Notifications.
