Selling through Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
Skuvelo does not read Walmart Fulfillment Services stock or plan shipments to WFS today. What the Walmart beta does connect, and how to keep your own numbers right meanwhile.
Skuvelo does not support Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) today. It does not read the stock Walmart holds for you in its fulfilment centres, and there is no WFS restock page like the one for Amazon FBA. If you sell through WFS, keep tracking WFS stock and inbound shipments in Walmart Seller Center.
What does work with Walmart
The Walmart Marketplace connection is a beta that connects a Walmart sandbox account only. It reads, and never writes:
- Orders, from the last 30 days on the first sync and new or changed orders after that, shown on Orders with Walmart as the channel.
- Items, so each Walmart SKU matches the product with the same SKU in Skuvelo.
It does not read any Walmart stock figures, from WFS or from your own fulfilment, and it does not separate WFS orders from orders you ship yourself. Your live Walmart store cannot be connected until Walmart's production certification completes. See Connect Walmart (beta) for how to connect it.
What to do instead
- Plan your own warehouse. Skuvelo still plans and reorders the stock you hold at your own locations on Locations.
- Take stock you send to WFS off your shelf. When units leave your warehouse for a Walmart fulfilment centre, record them on Adjustments so your own on-hand count stays true. Skuvelo will not track them once they reach Walmart.
- Check WFS stock in Seller Center before deciding how much more to send.
You cannot add a WFS location on Locations; the location types on offer are warehouse, store, bin and printer / framer. If WFS support matters to you, use Ask a person in Help so support can record the request.
Try the plan on your own stock.
